Sales

Software licence sales in a new, unique, untapped market

If you like getting out and about and working in an environment where every sale is different and you are enthusiastic and self-driven, then this job will be for you. The reward, for the right people, is virtually unlimited.

Chalestra is commissioned to sell licences to SMEs to use Business Administrator, a business management system. Business Administrator is a fantastic product, and it’s operating alone in a marketplace worth in excess of £2.2 billion a year. The licences are annual and should form repeat business every year as long as you continue to work for us. It means you can easily increase your income year on year.

We’re looking for sales managers and reps across the UK to sell licences to intermediaries. You don’t need to be technologically minded but an awareness of the SME software market is vital. You should also be aware that income will be driven from an intermediary’s ability to sell on to SMEs, and reps may need to support that process. We have the kit to ensure that that’s as easy as possible.

Most importantly, you will need to be enthusiastic and self-driven, and have research abilities to seek opportunities in the area you choose. You will benefit from being a clear communicator with the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships. The important characteristic for managers is a willingness to share information.

There is also the opportunity to sell at exhibitions and conferences, which can produce some very exciting results, and gain interesting and useful information about the market.

The time to get off the ground is very short. It only takes about a week, which means it’s relatively risk-free, and in such a huge market there is ample opportunity for a fast start. And training is continual.

We expect sales managers to operate as a team of four to five reps, and sales managers to work together across regions. We also expect managers to work together to build skills and results, so it becomes a very social network.

We’re offering a fixed but generous reward scheme, in a permanent role, and the freedom to develop your own techniques. OTE is £140k for managers and £100k for representatives, and the top end for the right people working hard should be in excess of £500k per annum. We don’t cap income because that’s counter-productive. We’re not offering a basic salary because we’re looking for high achievers who really want to achieve goals and get on.

Chalestra is a high-tech business and has the technology to comprehensively support you. And it has a powerful vision in place.
